Letter 1900, Dec. 6, New York City to Mr. Edwin Markham, Brooklyn, N.Y. / Arthur Brisbane. 1900.

He thanks him for his note of approval of his work. In regards to the picture, he is sure that Mr. Markham will approve of it. He states that Mrs. Wilcox will publish an article to go with the picture, for the N.Y. Journal. he also informs him that he has met with Dr. Daniel L. Strong and will read his article. They will gladly print it, if it is available for their purpose. He mentions that he is not in charge of the editorial section. Mr. Block manages that section, under Mr. Hearst's direction.
